Baby Registry

Are you expecting and having a hard time deciding what to put on your baby registry? I’ve got you covered! after four kids, I have tried it all and these are my tried and true baby must-haves!

I’m breaking it down by bigger ticket items and smaller items that may or may not be a good registry item, but nevertheless, things we used on the daily!

BIG TICKET ITEMS:

Stroller/ Car seat combo- A stroller that is compatible with an infant car seat is a must! We LOVE our uppa baby carseats - and would have done a matching stroller system if we would have gotten the Uppa Baby from the beginning with our first! But since we already had two strollers, we just have the car seats.

Baby Monitor- We love this baby monitor. Connects to Wi-Fi, and is super affordable! We pretty much have everything from Eufy, because we love the brand! You can monitor baby from an app on your phone, and you can set it to get alerts for noise and movement. What we like about this, is that we can use the monitor from wherever we are! If we are out to dinner and have a sitter, we can check in on babies sleeping from our phones. Plus the system has been proven to be safe, which isn’t the case for all wifi monitors!

Sound Machine- The best sound machine, night light combo! It has so many settings, and can be adjusted by an app! We have three Hatch Rests- We used them for all of our kids! Its easy to pack up to travel with as well!

Pack and Play- This pack and play is light-weight, fold easily and is great for at home or traveling! We have tried other pack and plays and this one by far is the simplest to set up / take down, and is SUPER easy to travel with!

Car Monitor- I’d definitely recommend a car monitor over a mirror! They make seeing your babies while you drive so much easier!

Sleep Sack- Our favorite sleep sacks! Light-weight but keep the babies warm and cozy. We currently have the 1.0 TOG (which is the “Warmth rating” - which is the perfect lightweight sleep sack for summertime. If your home is cooler in the winter months, opt for a higher TOG rating.

Blackout Tent- This blackout tent is amazing for traveling! It easily fits over a pack and play and keeps the light out! This was our biggest pet peeve when we traveled when our oldest was a baby! It was so hard to get him to nap when we werent at home with blackout shades! This tent is amazing! And comes with or without an attached fan if you want to control air flow in the tent in warmer climates!

Car Seat- Like I mentioned above - I wish we would have done the uppa baby car seat from the beginning! The car seat bases are SO EASY to install in your car, which makes moving the base from car to car! I also love the position it keeps baby.

Eufy Monitor- A smart sock is amazing for a new mom’s peace of mind! It tracks sleep patterns, heart rate patterns, and more. Since we have twins, we thought we would try out both the owlet and the eufy brand sleep sock. And honestly we prefer the Eufy Sleep sock! The range of the sock to the base goes farther (So we can easily have the base in our room)) and we like the system better since it works alongside the Eufy Baby montor camera!

Swaddle- This swaddle takes away the challenge of actually swaddling your babies, again, a product we used for ALL four of the kids! You just wrap, velcro and your done!

Sleep Suit- This sleep suit is perfect for transitioning from swaddles! My kids slept so good in them, and they’re nice and cozy! It made the transition SO MUCH EASIER. You’ll typically transition from swaddling baby when they show signs of rolling - which for us was around 4 months. It can be scary to go without a swaddle cold turkey, because baby can easily wake them selves up when their arms are free! This sleep suit just makes baby feel cozy and get used to having their arms free!

Baby Swing- This swing does it all! It vibrates, swivels, plays music, and more. So good! I know all babies are different, and some may not like swings, but all 4 of our kiddos did!

Bouncer- This bouncer is the best! It is so soothing for the babies, and perfect for the newborn stage! You can bounce with your foot if you need a break to sit down without holding baby - and as they get older they can learn how to bounce themselves! We still currently use our for the twins for bed time bottles - especially if its just me doing bedtime! I get them in their sleepsacks and give them a bottle while i bounce both of them - it gets them nice and sleepy before I lay them in their cribs.

Doorway Jumper- The twins have loved their jumpers! It’s so nice how you can move them from room to room with ease. Another purchase that has lasted through all kids! All of them LOVED jumping in it, and is a great independent activity for them if you need time to get ready for the day, or cook dinner. etc.

SMALL TICKET ITEMS:

Teether- These teethers are great for introducing new foods to your babies! You can also freeze the food in them, it’ll feel great for a teething baby!

Nursing Cups- Breastfeeding can be tough, these nursing covers help reduce friction on your dry/cracked nipples. Honestly, a life saver!

Nose Frida- Nothing gets the boogie out quite like the Nose Frida! It provides great suction and will clear them right out.

Saline Mist- Use along side the Nose Frida. Saline Mist is great for loosening up a stuffy nose!

Muslin Burp Cloths- The best burp cloths! Super absorbent and so soft.

Bottle Bottle Brushes- You will definitely need bottle brushes if you’re bottle feeding. I love that these come with a more narrow part for the bottle nipples, as well!

Stroller Fan- A must-have for those hot summer walks! This fan has three speeds and fits on any stroller or car seat.

Play Mat- We loved this plat mat for tummy time! It has lots of interactive additions to stimulate baby’s brain.

Baby Shusher- The perfect tool to get your baby to sleep, and to keep them asleep! It’s a miracle worker!

Dr. Brown’s Bottles- These are our go-to bottles! The are great at reducing colic and reflux.

Nail File- This electric nail file works so well! Gets the job done while being super gentle.

Car Seat Cover- Car seat covers are awesome for napping babies! Keeps the sunlight out and allows the car seat nap to continue outside of the car.

Boogie Wipes- Babies get snotty, and these are the best wipes for both boogies, and just cleaning your baby’s hands, face, etc!
