My Hospital Bag Checklist!

My hospital bag is *almost* packed! This is my third go around at packing my bag for the hospital - HOWEVER, this time will be different in two ways: 1) this time we are having TWO babies, and 2) I am having a C-Section while my previous births were both vaginal. I will probably have to come back to update after August 11th to see if anything needs to be added or removed from these items!!

For Me!

1.The Hospital tends to get cold for me so I am bringing this nursing sweatshirt! 2. The best maternity/postpartum joggers you will ever wear! So soft! 3. Button down PJ’s from Amazon 4. Hospitals are also notoriously dry so I’m bringing Aquaphor (which is by far the best lip balm I’ve ever tried!) 5. Another set of cute PJ’s from Target 6. This Cozy cardigan 7. Scrunchies/ Hair Ties 8. This two piece short/ button down set is what I am planning to wear home from the hospital. 9. The best nursing bras ever. I have tried a bunch and these are hands down my favorite. 10. Bringing my sleeping mask because if I do get a chance to sleep, I want it to be nice and dark! 11. An extra long charging cord so no matter where the outlet is, I can plug my phone in. 12. This two pack of nursing lounge sets from Old Navy. 13. My own cozy throw - more comfortable then the Hospital sheets! (Also bringing my own pillow and towels!) 14. Everything will be packed and kept in order with these packing cubes! 15. Nipple butter to save the nips! Also bringing these silverettes which I have heard are lifesavers!

-Not shown above but toiletries! Shampoo, conditioner, Razor, my skincare, lotion, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Floss etc!

For Babies!

1. Bows AND hats - since we aren’t finding out gender until birth! 2. Two different kinds of pacifiers. We didn’t give our older boys pacifiers until later, but with the twins, we don’t know what to expect with nursing and just want to have them on hand just in case! 3. Car Seats and Bases Installed in our car. 4. Bringing two neutral swaddle blankets to use for announcement photos. 5. I have 2 blue and 2 pink “hello my name is” stickers I got on Etsy - will use these for name announcements! 6. A couple of neutral onesies 7. I got these gown sets from Amazon that come with both a bow and a hat! Perfect for surprise gender babes! 8. I am bringing my diaper bag - keeping personal stuff in here like my wallet, phone charger, Ipad, etc. But will also use it to stock up on baby supplies from the hospital when we check out! 9. Going home outfits - I went with these sets from H&M! 10. First time bringing our noise machine (we love the Hatch!) I think it will be great- not only for the babies, but for myself to drown out noise if I am trying to sleep!

For Him

Brandon packs whatever he wants and needs for a couple night stay - comfy clothes, Pajamas, Toiletries, etc. But He is also in charge of:

Camera equiptment: we bring our digital camera, and we also have a small digital camcorder that is lightweight and easier to film video on than our large body Digital camera!

Entertainment: He also brings the Google Chromestick for the TV, and/or loads up movies and shows on his laptop for our hospital stay!

Folder for Important paperwork: He is definitely the more organIzed one of our relationship, and he takes on the duty of collecting all the important paperwork we receive during our stay!

WHAT IM NOT BRINGING

I know each hospital is different - so you will have to check with your hospital to see if they offer these items to you during your stay!

| Peri Bottle | Dermaplast numbing spray | pads/ mesh underwear | Halo Sleep Sack | Baby Diapers & Wipes |

Note: My hospital (and I am sure many hospitals) provides pretty much everything you would need - Newborn snap shirt, Hats, swaddle blankets for baby, towels, Hospital Gown - Some of the things I am bringing are out of choice and preference but AREN’T necessity!!
